The popular board game Parchis has been adapted into a multiplayer online game called Parchisi STAR. The international success of the Spanish board android game Parchis has led to its adaptation into local languages worldwide. The game belongs to the Crossing and Circle genre of board games.

It's a take on the classic Indian game known variously as Pachisi, Parchis, Ludo, and Parchis Online. Two dice and four components per player are needed to play Parchisi, played on paper with tracks around the 2 Colors Box outer, four corner spaces, and four home pathways connecting to a single end space.

The standard American Parchis board features 68 squares, 12 of these being "safe" squares with shading. Each player has a nest, or beginning region, at one of the four action corners of the board.
